Overview

Breezy is a relaxation application designed for iOS and watchOS platforms. It utilizes real-time monitoring of heart rate and health data from the Apple Watch to provide personalized relaxation experiences. The app offers sound and visual guidance and provides real-time feedback on changes in the user's body data. By customizing relaxation techniques for individual needs and providing personalized interactive effects, Breezy helps users achieve a more customized and effective relaxation experience.


Problem

In today's fast-paced society, many individuals experience varying degrees of mental pressure. As a result, the need for stress relief is on the rise, and meditation has emerged as a low-cost, highly effective solution for alleviating stress. This has led to a growing demand for easy-to-use and enjoyable meditation software that can guide users through their meditation practice.


Goals

1. Assist users in regulating their breathing and achieving relaxation through visual and auditory guidance.
2. Utilize the Apple Watch's real-time physiological data monitoring functionality to provide real-time interaction with the user's body by incorporating the user's physiological changes into the app.
3. Use HRV monitoring to prompt users to relax in a timely and effective manner.

- The meditation products currently available on the market primarily consist of collections of meditation courses
Some products also incorporate the use of an Apple watch.
- The majority of these products employ visual or auditory guidance methods to aid in meditation practice


Design drivers:
1. Apple Watch, which provides real-time physiological data
2. Meditation, which improves emotional health and relieves anxiety
3. Guided imagery, where sound and vision are used together to enhance meditation practice
4. Connections, which form an instant relationship between the physical body and digital visuals


Hypothesis:
In today's fast-paced society, people are experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety. As a result, the demand for stress relief is increasing day by day, and meditation has become a low-cost, highly effective way to alleviate stress. To address this need, we have developed a relaxation app based on the watchOS system that utilizes real-time monitoring of heart and health data from the Apple Watch. By providing sound and visual guidance and personalized feedback on changes in the user's physiological data, our app can help users achieve customized relaxation needs and personalized interactive effects.

Working Process







Prototype

Design two color schemes for day and night and switch between them automatically based on the time of day. Users can also switch between the modes manually.


Instructions:
The model controls the speed, expands its size, and adjusts its reflection to guide the user's breathing rate. It also provides feedback to the user, allowing them to track their progress and adjust their breathing accordingly.

To switch between modes, use the designated switch or button. The relaxation mode uses balanced breathing, while the sleep mode uses the 4-7-8 breathing method.
To set the time, slide the module to the desired time using the designated controls.

Swipe the screen left and right to switch between sound scenes. Breathe, Ocean, Forest.

Start breathing by following the guide imagery, make sure you follow the inhale and exhale instructions and notice the changes.
